Not to be confused with a massage. A certified therapist applies a clinical sequence of gentle pressure, increasing then releasing it to create a pumping effect that moves fluid toward the lymph nodes and major vessels.

Post-operative drainage is performed by therapists certified in post-op treatment and is usually recommended by your surgeon. Sessions are 50 minutes hands-on, plus time to dress and describe what you need.
